Open Position: Middleburg Heights Chamber of Commerce Executive Director 

The Middleburg Heights Chamber of Commerce is looking for an Executive Director to replace our current director who is retiring. This is a 30 hour per week (average) position in a one person office. Our chamber has approximately 225 members. Candidates must have the following skills:

  • Outgoing and friendly

  • Must get to know all Chamber members by name and face

  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and accountable

  • Must have computer skills and ability to use Chamber software, email, and social media including Facebook, Twitter and maintain postings on the Chamber’s Website.

  • Ability to make cold calls and personal visits to new businesses

  • Must be skilled in event planning including the Chamber’s regular meetings, monthly Board meetings, Salute to the City, annual Big Creek Run, Biz Expo, etc.

  • Willingness to ask businesses for donations

  • Ability to work with the Board of Directors

  • Ability to work with the staff of the City of Middleburg Heights

  • Ability to work with the Executive Directors of the other area Chambers

  • Superior multitasking skills

  • Ability to motivate participation of all Chamber members at events

  • Job requires that you be the face of the Chamber
